Stone that was engraved by the Portuguese can still be spotted in the Korlai Fort.

Old Portuguese stone with their emblem and a message is placed on the entrance of the Korlai fort.

Another old Portuguese stone at the Korlai Fort.

Most of the Korlai fort has been left untouched and that adds to the authenticity of the visit. Unlike a lot of the other old forts that have been fresco-ed out of their history, Korlai fort gives you the feel of old times. You can easily imagine how people fought here and how people lived here.

The old guns are still lying around and you will be able to make out that they haven't been moved since they were last fired or after the last intrusion.

Old authentic fort of Korlai.
